Meet Dr. Shin

Dr. Stephanie S. Shin was born and raised in Southern California. After receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, she completed a residency in advanced education in general dentistry at NYU Lutheran Medical Center. This was followed by a pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Michigan, where she obtained a certificate, as well as a Master of Science in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Shin’s thesis prospectively compared the outcomes of indirect pulp therapy and MTA pulpotomy in decayed primary molars.

In addition to practicing at Tree Town Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Shin teaches clinical pediatric dentistry to dental students and pediatric dental residents at the University of Michigan. She has served on numerous outreach trips, providing dental care to underserved areas in Mexico, Haiti, and Bangladesh.

Dr. Shin is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She looks forward to establishing long-term relationships with our patients and their families while providing the most compassionate dental care.
